Armin van Buuren is headlining Magicbox
Fans of electronic music who’s planning to visit Tinderbox this year have had to wait to find out which acts will be serving the soundtrack of this year’s never-ending party at Magicbox.
Each year, the spectacular stage draws a string of prominent DJs and producers from all over the world to Tinderbox, and thousands of fans turn up to see their heroes and dance the night away under the treetops.
This summer, the Dutch star Armin van Buuren will be headlining the stage. The GRAMMY-nominated DJ and producer has been on the forefront of the blooming international EDM scene for over a decade and been a big part of shaping the global trance scene.
He’s been named the world’s best DJ five times and he has a monthly following on Spotify equivalent to the double of Denmark’s population with songs like “Blah Blah Blah”, “This Is What It Feels Like”, and “Great Spirit” surpassing a collective 830 million streams.
However, Armin van Buuren’s success is far from limited to his impressive streaming numbers and discography. It’s an extremely experienced live performer who’ll be visiting Tinderbox this summer. In 2013 he became the second EDM artist to play at New York’s Madison Square Garden and he sold a striking 500.000 tickets for his ‘Armin Only’ world tour.
Speaking on the news of Armin van Buuren headlining Magicbox, Tinderbox’ booker of electronic music, Peter Kjær, says:
“Armin van Buuren has been the all-time most wished for artist at Magicbox. We finally got him confirmed for 2020 which sadly went out the window due to Covid-19. But now, in 2023, it fitted into the touring plans again. This means that we’re finally able to present the biggest name that’s ever played at Magicbox, and we’re extremely excited to do so!”
