Tobias Rahim became nationally known when he released the mega hit “STOR MAND” (big man) with fellow Dane Andreas Odbjerg back in 2021. Follow-up singles like “Mucki Bar”, “Når Mænd Græder” (translates to: when men cry), “Feberdrømme Xx Dubai” and “Flyvende Faduma” all became instant hits, and it almost seems that whatever Tobias Rahim touches turns to gold.
The award-winning artist might be the fastest rising act in Denmark at the moment, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t played an important role in the industry before his big breakthrough. As one half of the duo Camilo & Grande, the Danish-Kurdish artist brought reggaeton to Denmark, and although his solo material is quite different from his previous projects, the references to places further south from Odense are definitely still present.
Tobias Rahim is not afraid of being political in his music and many sees him as a role model and great advocate for talking about (and against) toxic masculinity.
