As early as the beginning of the 2000s, Alex Vargas was an active musician. He burned his high school books as a symbolic gesture to underline that this was not the path for him. He chose music. He began his career in the band Vagabond, touring across the UK. In 2010, he decided to go solo, and in 2014 his career truly took off. The following years brought radio hits such as “Solid Ground,” “Shackled Up,” and “Higher Love.”
