Jung and Scarlet Pleasure join the lineup!
Besides from being a place to see some of the biggest artists, the world has to offer, Tinderbox is a place to experience the great volume of amazing Danish acts that have missed being at festivals during the past two years of restrictions just as much as we have!
Now, two of Denmark’s most popular trios join the lineup, when Jung and Scarlet Pleasure pay a visit to Tinderbox this summer!
Denmark’s new national orchestra Jung unites festival guests across generations
The charismatic sound of Jung felt like an explosion in the Danish music scene when they released their two first singles “Jeg Skal Nok Vente” (I’ll be waiting) and “Hun Kommer Tilbage” (She’ll return) in 2019 and marked the beginning of a truly impressive musical career.
The trio, made up of Jonas Jung, Sigurd Boesen, and Michael Hovmand, started their band with the ambition of crafting songs that matters to people across generations and that’s exactly what they’ve managed to do. Their 80’s infused catchy pop songs touch upon those kinds of ever-present emotions that we, as humans, seem destined to experience throughout our lives.
Jung is only in the beginning of their incredible adventures but has already accomplished playing national arenas, won several awards and released two critically acclaimed records.
Scarlet Pleasure brings the heat to Tinderbox 2022!
Emil Goll, Joachim Dencker and Alexander Malone – the minds behind one of Denmark’s best-known pop bands – are hailing from Copenhagen. But if you don’t know better you might be tricked into believing that Scarlet Pleasure is the product of a climate waaaay kinder than then Danish.
With suntanned hits like ”Deja Vu”, “Limbo” and “What A Life” – immortalized as the main theme of the Danish Oscar-winning movie Druk (Another Round) – Scarlet Pleasure has crafted catchy pop tunes made for falling in love, dancing and dazing under the hot sun.
The trio has been a well-known part of the Danish pop scene since their record Mirage landed in 2014 with singles like “The Strip” and “Windy”. Since then, every single record they’ve put out has resulted in massive hits and kept them relevant year after year. They’ve rounded 200 million streams on Spotify, sold out countless of concert halls and created beautiful memories together with their thousands of fans at some of the biggest festivals, this country has to offer.
