Meet the lineup for the EDM party at Magicbox

Big names like Timmy Trumpet, Oliver Heldens, and Vintage Culture alongside new aspiring artists make sure you never miss a beat at the Magicbox stage at this year’s festival.

Magicbox is the electronic pulse making the heart beat a little bit faster. Each year, thousands of EDM fans get together in a collective dance-trance to the sound of some of the world’s biggest electronic names. This year makes no exception when world stars conquer Magicbox alongside some of the most exciting upcoming names that makes up the new generation of electronic artists.

The most wished-for act!
It caused great excitement when Tinderbox back in 2019 announced some of the acts to play Magicbox 2020 – including Australian DJ and producer Hayden James and Dutch star Oliver Heldens. The disappointment was equally as big when the festival was forced to cancel due to the pandemic and therefore, it’s with great pleasure that the festival can now announce the return of the two stars for this year’s event.

However, the lineup is far from a copy of previous years. Aussie mastermind Timmy Trumpet unites his background as a jazz musician with his love of dance music and has been the most wished for artist to play Magicbox for a while now. He’s joined by several other international heavy-weights such as Vintage Culture, Purple Disco Machine, Brennan Heart, Lost Frequencies and the young phenomenon Imanbek whose GRAMMY-awarded remix of rapper SAINt JHN’s “Roses” put his home country of Kazakhstan on the electronic world map.

Booker Peter Kjær states:

I’m really looking forward to opening up the doors to Magicbox after two years of complete silence. We’ve once again tried including our audience’s music wishes within different genres ranging from current melodic radio hits that everyone knows and loves to the hard-hitting Brennan Heart and – of course – Timmy Trumpet who’s been the most wished-for artist the past couple of years. Most importantly, I’m just looking forward to seeing people dance and party again in the Magicbox area which will once more surprise with a brand-new design.

Local hit machines and the next generation of electronic artists
In Denmark we’re gifted with great talent when it comes to that kind of music that turns up the heat and makes your whole body move.

The sound of HEDEGAARD, KATO and the duo TooManyLeftHands can start a party no matter where you are in Denmark and the three acts are joined by some new artists ready to take over the charts.

The duo BOILERS met during lockdown and created the remix “Kiss Me” over Zoom which was the starting point of an impressive career with over 270.000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Yo Johnny has made a name for himself with his industrial tech-house and cool collaborations with upcoming artists like Ravi Kuma and Szim, all the while Kristoffer Fuglsang and Mathias Holsaae have racked up 200 million streams and created a glittering universe of French disco-house under the artistic alias LittGloss.

Tickets are on sale
An overwhelming amount of festival guests have chosen to keep their tickets from the cancelled years 2020 and 2021 which means there’s only a limited amount of tickets on sale for this year’s event. Remaining full-festival tickets are still on sale and will until March 3rd cost DKK 2.195. After March 3rd, the price increases. Day-tickets are also on sale and the specific date for each artist can be found here.
