It’s been nearly impossible not to come across Gobs’ massive hit “Tak For Sidst,” which ended up breaking Danish hit list records and staying at #1 on the official chart for a wild 13 weeks in a row.
The single was a precursor to the album MELLEM HIMMEL & JORD, released in January this year, another triumph for the young artist as it immediately became the most listened-to album in Denmark.
Such success, however, was not unfamiliar to Gobs, who already with his previous album KNUSTE HJERTER HELER ALDRIG, featuring the smash hit “Tro På Kærlighed,” experienced multiple weeks at #1 on the Danish official chart last year.
With an impressive 300 million streams under his belt, Gobs has long established his name as one of the most popular artists on the Danish pop scene right now, and it is with great joy that we can finally present him at this year’s edition of Tinderbox.
