Tinderbox is just around the corner, so you can now start packing your bag

  • Sunscreen (Take care of yourself and your skin)
  • Sunglasses and/or a hat with a brim (Looks cool and is great for your eyes)
  • Warm sweater (So you don’t get cold in the evening)
  • Rain poncho/rain jacket (If the weather forecast is wrong, it’s nice to stay dry)
  • Earplugs (The music is great, but it’s a good idea to protect your hearing)

But not just anything is allowed inside the festival grounds. We’ve made a list of things you should be aware of, so nothing gets taken from you at the entrance. Ready, set, go… PACK!

Sunscreen and insect repellent
You’re allowed to bring sunscreen and insect repellent if they come in a tube or with a pump. Sunscreen and insect repellent in pressurized containers are NOT allowed. If you’re unsure whether your spray is permitted, look for the small flame symbol — if it’s there, it’s NOT allowed. Pressurized containers will be confiscated at the entrance.

Children
You’re welcome to bring your children to the festival. Children under 12 get in for free and don’t need a separate ticket. They must be accompanied by a paying adult. We recommend that younger children are not on site after 8 PM.

Umbrellas
Umbrellas are not allowed. However, raincoats and ponchos are permitted. Ponchos can also be purchased at selected bars.

Dogs
Animals are not allowed on the festival grounds.

Water bottles
You may bring an empty plastic water bottle. Glass and metal bottles are not allowed.

Own food and drinks
Bringing your own food or drinks is NOT allowed on the festival grounds.
There’s a wide selection of food available – including options for those who are gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. All food vendors can be found in the app.

Alcohol
You may not bring your own alcohol into the festival.
There is a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available on-site. We have no plans to get rid of alcohol at Tinderbox.

Cigarettes
You’re allowed to bring cigarettes for personal use. We do not sell cigarettes on-site.

Makeup/perfume
You may bring small makeup items and a small bottle of perfume.
Note: Perfume bottles must not be made of glass.
Spray deodorants are NOT allowed. Pressurized containers (marked with the small flame symbol) are prohibited.

Dry shampoo
If it comes in a pressurized can, it’s not allowed. Look for the flame symbol on the back. Roll-on deodorants are allowed as long as they’re not in glass containers.

Electronics
You are not allowed to bring tape recorders, video cameras, DSLR cameras, or other professional photography equipment.
Electronic hair styling devices like straighteners are also not allowed.

Cameras
You may bring small digital or analog pocket-sized cameras and mobile phones.
Larger cameras such as DSLRs are not allowed on the grounds, along with any other types of large cameras.

Medicine
If you’re bringing over-the-counter medication, keep it in its original packaging so it can be identified at the entrance — that way it won’t be confiscated.
If you have prescription medication, you may only bring a one-day supply for personal use, and you must be able to document what it is and have a valid prescription.
