another 10 names to the bill for next year’s festival

George Ezra

George Ezra was originally confirmed for last year’s festival but unfortunately had to cancel last minute after losing his voice. The festival is happy to now bring back the “Green Green Grass”-singer who’s still one of the most beloved British songwriters several years after his breakthrough with “Budapest”.

Canadian rapper bbno$ went viral with his Y2K-collaboration “Lalala” back in 2019 and hasn’t slowed down since. The tongue-in-cheek rapper with razor-sharp punchlines recently released his new album bag or die and has seen great success with tracks like “edamame (feat. Rich Brian)”, and “Piccolo”. The Swedish-born but L.A.-based rising, young artist Oliver Malcolm has previously produced for the likes of MF Doom and Joey Bada$$ but has launched his solo project with a unique and extremely catchy mix of alternative pop, soul, and hip hop making him an exciting new act to watch out for in the future.

National heroes and domestic rising stars

Every year, Tinderbox presents a range of national acts, showcasing the massive talent dominating the Danish music scene. Some of the most influential names in pop are the duo Nik & Jay who’s defined the pop scene since the 2000’s, and songstress Medina who also launched an international career and reached #1 at the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Chart with her song “Addiction”.

Benjamin Hav is a one-of-a-kind with his tight rap and dance-friendly soundscapes delivered by his band Familien who’s been described as a Danish equivalent to The Roots. Jada might be the new international pop star to come out of Denmark. The MØ-collaborator has recently been out for her first UK and EU tour before playing at Copenhagen’s majestic Royal Arena.

Tobias Rahim has become one of the biggest new stars in Denmark, selling out his national arena tour half a year before the shows kicking off. The Danish-Kurdish artist has previously been part of bringing reggaeton to Denmark but now finds himself in the top of the pop charts week after week.

Finally, sister-duo PRISMA, originally from Odense, makes cinematic and dreamy rock characterized by their two-part vocals and noisy guitars, while four-piece Blæst brings up-tempo, youthful, 80’s inspired pop to the festival.
