KIDD is one of the Danish rappers who has shaken up the music industry the most at home. Together with the crew from CHEFF Records, he broke through in the early 2010s by releasing his music independently online, proving that you didn’t need a major record label to achieve massive impact. With classics like “Kysset Med Jamel,” “Bedre,” and “Buongiorno,” he helped kickstart a wave in Danish hip hop where the internet and direct contact with fans became an art form in itself.
After a period with fewer releases and high expectations—during which he spent time finding his own way back to music—KIDD has, since 2023, been working intensely on new material and has once again been active in the studio. In 2024, he released his first album in ten years, OG SÅ VIDERE, featuring 11 new tracks. The album includes collaborations with artists such as Emil Kruse, MAS, and Sira Jovina, and songs like “Igen” and “Under solen” showcase both maturity and the energy that has always been a defining part of his sound.
In recent years, KIDD has also shown that he can still fill venues and draw attention with his live shows. In December 2025, he announced a major homecoming show in Copenhagen, Jeg har savnet København, paying tribute to the city, the streets, and the audience that has followed him since the very beginning.
This is rap music that combines direct hooks, personal lyrics, and edgy beats—and even after more than a decade in the industry, KIDD has retained the ability to both reflect on his own life and create moments the audience sings along to. At Tinderbox 2026, you can expect an artist who carries the legacy of his early career while proving that he still has something to say today.
