Ozzy, Østen, Wicky & Kayak are heading to TB26

Østen is one of the names in Danish pop that has quickly made a mark with his strong presence and distinctive voice. With songs that revolve around relationships, doubt, and the search for one’s place in the world, he strikes a chord that many listeners can relate to. This is evident in hits such as “Når Du Rører Ved Mig” and “Regn.” His music moves within a modern pop universe, leaving room for both the intimate and the grand. The Danish indie-pop trio Kayak is also among the most interesting new voices on the Danish music scene. They first gained widespread attention with the singles “Svært Ikke At Forsvinde” and “Stories,” the latter of which was named P3’s Track of the Week. Their music is characterized by layers of synths, airy vocals, and experimental guitars. The lyrics revolve around emotions, doubt, longing, and hope. Altogether, this creates a sound that is both grand and intimate at the same time, while still offering melodies you can sing along to. On the live stage, the group delivers concerts where both the vulnerable melodies and the big moments are given room to unfold.
