Hooligan roars with Von Quar at Tinderbox 2027!
Von Quar is one of the most fast-rising bands on the Danish music scene. Since forming in 2024, they have created their very own sound, which they call Danish-spoken hooligan rock. Inspired by football culture’s sense of unity, hair-raising chants, and the electric tension of the stands, their blend of rock, punk, and rave culminates in a massive discharge of energy led by frontman Mikkel Øster and the rest of the 15-member starting lineup.
The inspiration from the nation’s football stadiums is clearly heard on tracks like “6 Kilometer” and “Alt hvad jeg vil,” where the shouting vocals and insistent drums fuse together with brass and synths. In a short time, Von Quar has established themselves as one of the country’s most explosive live bands, heading to Tinderbox on the heels of a series of critically acclaimed concerts and an iconic performance at P3 Guld.
