The man behind the Suspekt sound has found a new home on the dancefloor
For over 20 years, Rune Rask has been making beats for Suspekt and helping define the sound of Danish hip-hop. He still does. But alongside his life with Suspekt, he has built a solo career centered around the dancefloor.
The summer of 2024 belonged to “København.” The track, created with TooManyLeftHands, Suspekt, and Benjamin Hav, played on repeat everywhere from festival grounds to car radios. He hasn’t paused since. In 2026, he delivered eye-catching releases such as “Alle Mine Veninder” featuring Medina and the chart hit “En Som Dig” with Hampenberg and Blæst.
He knows Magicbox all too well, having taken the stage there three times before. Now he is back. His sets leap between hip-hop, house, and techno, with Suspekt classics showing up in new iterations. You know the songs – you just haven’t heard them like this before.
Gather your friends and get close to the stage. It’s going to be loud, fast, and packed with tracks you can sing along to.
