Artigeardit is one of the most prominent rappers on the Danish music scene right now. Born Ardit Aliti in Herlev and raised with roots in Mørkhøj, he has built a large following since the mid-2010s with his distinctive voice in Danish hip hop. He began writing lyrics as a child and released his first official music on SoundCloud, before rising to become one of the country’s most streamed rap artists.
He has released several studio albums, four of which have reached number one on the Danish charts, including Held & Lykke Med At Komme Hjem and Længe Leve. Længe Leve received particular acclaim and won Danish Music Awards for Album of the Year and Danish Live Act of the Year, while Artigeardit also received the P3 Prize at P3 Guld.
His music ranges from energetic, trap-inspired beats to more melodic and personal songs, often telling stories from his own life, about modern youth culture, and about finding one’s place in the world.
