Oh Land aka Nanna Øland Fabricius was working on a promising ballet career, when a back injury forced her to stop. But as it turned out, Oh Land wasn’t just a talented ballet dancer – she was also an extremely skilled musician which showed with the release of her debut album Fauna in 2008. She quickly rose to fame in Denmark and made a name for herself as one of the country’s most innovative and diverse pop artists.
The musical adventure led her to New York, where she lived and worked for seven years. She toured the world both in her own name and as support for the likes of Katy Perry and Sia, and she collaborated as a songwriter with artists like Pharrell, Tricky, and John Legend.
Oh Land has released five studio records, two EP’s, and a string of hit singles like “White Nights”, ”Sun of a Gun”, ”Renaissance Girls”, and ”Speak Out Now”.
Most recently, Oh Land unleashed her first EP in Danish, and she’s currently working on another EP alongside her sixth studio record.
