Since 2009, when the single “Ensom” (Lonely) hit the dancefloors, Medina has been one of the biggest pop stars in Denmark. Today she’s not just a star. She’s an idol.
Medina entered the Danish music scene with the hit record Velkommen til Medina (Welcome to Medina) from 2009. Besides from rapidly being a well-known name throughout all of Denmark, she translated several of her songs and gained great success internationally at markets like Germany, the UK, and the US where her track “Addiction” reached #1 at the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay list.
Medina is known for crafting instant bangers. She masters the vulnerability and honesty that makes people resonate with her storytelling but also knows what it takes for a song to make a dancefloor move.
Most recently she released a new single in the summer of 2022 following the creation of the honest and personal movie portrait Medina.
We’ve missed her on the live stage, but now she’s finally back and ready to treat the festival crowds with a setlist featuring several of the greatest hits from her impressive career.
