She’s only 1.60 meters tall, but Ida Laurberg fills every stage with an energy that is anything but small.

With her boundary-pushing blend of atmospheric pop, alternative R&B, and brutally honest lyrics, she has carved out her own unique space on the Danish music scene.

Ida Laurberg debuted with the English single “Puppy Dog Eyes” in 2016, which quickly went viral and kickstarted her career. However, it was the single “Terrier” from 2022 and the later duet with Andreas Odbjerg, “Jeg Ka’ Rigtig Godt Li’ Dig” (I Really Like You), that made her a household name. These songs topped the charts, and the latter was crowned “Danish Hit of the Year” at the Danish Music Awards 2023.

In 2024, she released her Danish-language debut album Bænkevarmer (Benchwarmer), an uncompromising journey through the entire emotional spectrum. With strong melodies and lyrics, she explores taboo topics with humor and quirkiness. Ida describes it herself as a “coming-of-age” album that gets to the core of what it feels like to find yourself in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

With chart-topping hits, gold certifications, and prestigious awards, Ida Laurberg is an artist who consistently garners attention for her focus on mental health and for pushing the boundaries of Danish pop music.
