If you’re curious about what’s going on at the Danish music scene right now, you should pay close attention to Emma Grankvist aka eee gee who’s (to use the name of one of her own tracks) “killing it” at the moment.
She’s still quite new although that’s very hard to hear. Not because she sounds old or anything, but simply because it sounds like she’s been doing this for decades. She released her debut single “Favourite Lover” back in 2021 and afterwards put out a string of banging singles leading up to her brilliant debut album Winningfrom 2022.
Her sound is pop with a sweet touch of country, making it a great example of that timeless kind of pop that never goes out of style. Play it to your grandpa, to you best friend’s mom, or to your future child – we’re pretty sure they’ll all love it…
